(More customer reviews)I got two of these for Christmas for a couple of 10 year old boys. They flew them on a baseball field over the weekend. While they really loved them and flew them a LOT, by the end of the weekend, the charge in the planes was getting less and less-- and yes, I changed out the batteries in the controllers. It definitely does what it says. It spirals up about 30-40 feet in the air and then it changes to plane mode and flies around, but don't think you are going to be able to control the flight more than making a slight turn here or there. I have purchased Airhog planes before, and here is my assessment: They are really fun toys that will be used 2-3 weeks before either the battery in the planes can't charge enough or the wings get dinged up too much affecting the flight. Don't even think about flying this thing on concrete! Hey, if you've got $50 or $60, and you want a fun toy for a while it is great, but don't think it will last.
