(More customer reviews)This was the most fun of the scientific toys we had this year! (age 9) A big hit for a playdate--and a good educational toy. It worked as it should, providing you used your own tools. The plastic knife that came with it was too flimsy. Things went much better with this toy experience when the kids did it themselves with a hammer and butter knife (dull dinner knife). Everyone found a crystal and put into the display case. A good, fun toy.We did not have the problems that were described with other digging toys of this type.
