(More customer reviews)This toy was a Christmas gift. It isn't a total failure, but it doesn't quite work well. The sound quality is very bad (poor reception, very buzzy). The range is very low - about 15 feet maximum. My kids still manage to have fun with it, but it isn't what it promises to be.

At 2.5 inches, these mini spy walkie talkies can be stored in a pocket or in a child's palm of the hand! Features 4 transistors, press-to-talk function, Morse Code capabilities, flexible antenna and volume control. Requires eight AG13 batteries (test batteries included but we recommend to change them with new batteries when you receive the product). Colors may vary from picture. Average range depends on location. In general, in-house use (with walls) will be 20 to 50 foot. Outdoors will be 50 to 200 foot. Ages 8 & up.
